Himalaya Protein Shampoo with Conditioner

Hair is a woman’s crowning glory but mine i think has lost its glory :(.

I’ve always since forever fought a battle with my stubborn hair but recently, i’m losing the battle terribly. Before my hair was thin and dry, now after constantly subjecting it to straightening iron and hair color, it’s limp and brittle and in a much worst condition than before. I don’t know if i’m being paranoid but recently the shower drain had been spotting more hair too. Horror!

I’ve tried using shampoos from different brands which have the moisturizing and damage repair properties. Sure my hair feels a little soft after shampooing but it didn’t improve my hair condition much.

The sister finally recommended Himalaya Protein Shampoo with Conditioner. I was skeptical at first but then i realized that’s what she had been using all this while. I quickly went to the local pharmacy to purchase a bottle.

Sometime ago her hair started thinning and the tiny bald spot on top of her head became quite visible. I was wondering what product she had been using to tackle her problem because her hair now looks strong and healthy and the bald patch isn’t noticeable anymore. Now i know her secret.

The Himalaya Protein Shampoo with Conditioner has definitely help with my brittle hair. The first time i used the shampoo i was already amazed with the result. My hair felt very shiny and soft yet bouncy. Unlike most moisturizing shampoo that tends to soften but weight down the hair, this shampoo gave me volume so it felt like i had thicker hair.

I’m on my 3rd week of using the shampoo and i’m loving it. I definitely notice less hair loss (i’ve been checking out the bathroom floor obsessively). On alternate days, i will apply some other brand of leave-on conditioner to make my hair stronger. Yes, my hair had definitely improved.

The boyfriend had also start using the shampoo because of its hair growth property which he said feels good on his hair. He used it on alternate days though because he have oily scalp. He’s afraid that the rich shampoo will make his scalp oily.

Kao Liese Bubble Hair Color – Dark Chocolate

It’s been years since i’ve used DIY hair dyes. After few failed attempts at dying my hair years ago i’ve resign to having it done at the hair salon instead. I remember feeling so miserable after washing off the DIY dyes and saw that the color was all patchy and my hair became so brittle and dry afterwards.

But alas we all know dying hair at the hair salon could cost a bomb. So in conjunction of the CNY celebration this year i had decided to try Kao Liese Bubble Hair Color instead. Unfortunately i forgot to take any photos of the hair color or even my hair (before or after). So, i’ll just borrow some photos from other blogs.

All photos taken from http://beautyknot.wordpress.com/

Anyways, it’s a Japanese brand and unlike the conventional hair dye on the shelves, you do not need to tediously comb in the color onto your hair. Instead, with Liese it’s just like shampooing the hair.

The box of hair color comes with 2 solutions which you need to combine in a special bottle. Once you gently mix the 2 solution, all you need to do is to squeeze the middle of the bottle and foams will come out from the nozzle.

Massage the foam onto your dry (unwashed) hair just like what you do when you shampoo your hair. Make sure every inch of the hair is covered and leave it for 20-30mins. Rinse it thoroughly and shampoo the hair like usual. Lastly just apply the leave-on conditioner which is also provided in the box.

I love the fact that it’s easy to apply even by your own. The hair color doesn’t smell as pungent as conventional hair color so it’s another brownie point from me. The hair color really does cover the hair evenly without being patchy. Plus my hair does not seem too dry after using it which is super great!

The result is exactly as shown on the box. Unfortunately it tends to fade or get brighter after a few wash but i’m ok with that since i choose Dark Chocolate which is a tad too dark at first.

Hair Whitening Shampoo?

Suggestive picture of unnatural anime-like Japanese woman with long black hair aside, who in the world would want to whiten their hair??
