I just finish watching this Michael Jackson Medley for like the umpteenth times. The medley arrangement was done by Kurt Schneider and the vocals by Sam Tsui. I can’t get enough of it. Royalty free music or RF music is a new term in my dictionary. It never occurred to me that the theme and background music of a multimedia production or broadcast i’ve watched came with a price. The music is probably licensed and a costly royalty fee is charged each time it’s played. That’s super inconvenient and it would not look good on a budget production.
