Everything Dogs Related

Everything Dogs Related

It puzzles me how dogs could sense that they are welcome at my home. Strays or lost dogs never fail to arrive at our doorstep. It’s not like i’m a certified dog rescuer nor am i running an animal sanctuary, hell i wouldn’t be able to sleep at night if i did. Being a worrywart, i’ll be at my wit ends trying to re-home the dogs. So sometimes when it a dog lingers in front of my house for days, i try to ignore them but it’ll only be a matter of time before i see those sad pleading eyes and relent.

This is dog number 17 that happens to grace our home in May and he won’t budge from the front of my house so we fed him. Yup the 17th. Sheesh… i guess Kepong people like to abandon dogs.

We named him Brownie. The most playful dog we’ve encountered. Chases everything he sees.

Lucky dog had been re-homed. Now he stays in TTDI with a new housemate a Labrador. The last i heard from his new owner is that he’s being really territorial and bullies the Lab. LOL oh well…

Another incident with dogs last month. The boyfriend ended up getting bitten really bad by my neighbor’s dog. 3 puncture marks on his hand and one on his leg was bitten by Kobe. Scared the shit out of me because he was bleeding so much and we had to rush to the clinic for rabies jab.

Kobe and the neighbor’s dog are the sworn enemies. I don’t know why but maybe Kobe knows we hate the psycho owner so she had taken the responsibility to be hostile towards the dog. Every time they see each other they will try to bite each other’s head off.

I hate to say “I told you so” but i did specifically told the boyfriend not to intervene when they are tearing at each other but he never listens. So dear, “I told you so!” but kisses because you saved Kobe LOL.

And finally i present to you Boy, a really giant of a dog that had been wondering the neighborhood for a week before he decided to seek shelter under our car 2 weeks ago. We fed him and he stayed in front of our gate howling like a baby at dawn till we let him come in.

Poor boy had blisters on his four feet and was exhausted. I really cannot understand how someone could have lost… i think more likely abandon such a huge gorgeous dog (he is bigger than a German Shepherd).

Anyhow, he has now found a new home at Puchong. They named him Samson but he refuses to answer to that name so instead they called him Boy which he apparently liked.

I cried so hard the first night i let him go.  I hope he is happy there because i’ve grown so attached to him even though we only took him in for a night.

I pray that there’s no more abandon dogs at my place because really cannot take the stress anymore. What’s wrong with you Kepong people??!!! Your mother never teach you to be kind to animals?!

Indecent Exposure

Indecent Exposure

Real estate in Kepong is really ridiculously over-priced. You know why? Because it’s the worst area to stay in. It’s old, full of stubborn, irresponsible and intolerant people, it’s infested with foreign workers and most of all lately safety has become an issue. A BIG issue.

To be fair i’m not referring to all area in Kepong because Kepong is a rather wide area but if i were you i’d better do my research thoroughly before purchasing a house here. It had never been a very safe place to stay; with the number of incidents with perverts that i had encountered i think i am somewhat qualified to judge.

First there were peeping toms, then molesters and then there were few incidents with flashers.

Cases of snatching are a common thing here too, in fact my aunt had her bag snatched right in front of my house 3 times in a row and my sister’s handbag was snatched once. I nearly was a victim too. Now don’t let me go on about break-ins because oh i could go on and on. It’s something i hear about often at this area. Even with police patrolling the area on most of the nights, it still happens.

And then there is the drug dealing case at Jalan Chiak Padang, few blocks from my place. Sigh…

Today… well today, i met with a flasher again; this time the pervert was on a motorcycle. Came near me and when i realized he was flinging his private part at me he already zoomed off. I was so stunned that i only managed to shout “orang gila!!” after he was far away but i think he heard me.

Yeah, i’m almost sure he heard me because i think it made him even more excited and even “high”; that twisted pervert came back another round. Fortunately i was already back in my house. F*cking bastard!!

I should have thrown my umbrella at him. Lesson learned too; never appear angry or frustrated at a flasher because they come off high with your reaction. I should have been calmer.

People in Kepong area, be careful and be alert for Malay motorcyclist with a moustache in a red polo t-shirt and black color. Ok, i realize that that a generic description but do be alert.

Gawd i can’t wait to get out of here!

Snatch Thieves, Break-ins and now Drug Trafficking

Whatever happened to my housing area? Drug trafficking oh my gosh! Living is Malaysia is seriously so dangerous nowadays!

First, i see more and more foreign faces at my area when i walk my dogs. I’m not joking. I think my area had graduated into an area with houses for the aging people else they are rented out to foreign workers. Sometimes i’m afraid to even walk my dogs because there will be some foreigners hanging out at the park, i’m hope they are not dog-eating-Vietnamese.

It’s already sad that i hear so many cases of neighbors being robbed or their handbag being snatched. It’s like every other week too that i hear about break-ins in my area. It’s crazy. At least once a month i see police cars parked outside one of the houses in the neighborhood (or next neighborhood).

My sis even witnessed with her own eyes, a stranger with a plastic bag over his head trying to climb into our neighbors house last month. It was raining but it was in broad daylight nonetheless!

Now this!

Suspected drug pusher shot while trying to mow down police
BERNAMA
Wednesday, November 17th, 2010 07:39:00

KUALA LUMPUR: A man believed to be a drug trafficker was seriously injured after he was shot by police for trying to mow them down while attempting to escape in an incident in Jalan Chiak, Kepong Baru, here, Tuesday.

Sentul district police deputy chief Supt Zainuddin Ahmad said in the 6.30pm incident, police received information about drug trafficking activity at a field in the area.

“An officer and five policemen were then asked to check it out where they saw a blue Honda car and a Nissan Fairlady approaching the place.

“They saw something being handed over which was suspectsd to be drugs and after our men identified themselves, the two drivers tried to flee, with the one in the Honda car trying to mow them down,” he said via SMS when contacted by Bernama.

Zainuddin said the police then fired some shots which hit the driver on his shoulder, chest and rib cage, with his car skidding and crashing into the parameter wall of a house nearby.

The injured man was taken to Selayang Hospital but the driver of the other managed to escape during the incident.

From the police investigation, it was found that the 32-year-old injured suspect had a previous criminal record for causing hurt with a weapon.

On inspecting his car, police found 45 Ecstasy pills and did not dismiss the possibility of the suspect being involved in drug trafficking.

Police will be applying for a remand order on the suspect once his condition is stable to assist in the investigation.

The boyfriend and i happened to pass by the crime scene the night it happened. Gave me goosebumps knowing it’s so near my parents place. It happened just on the opposite end of our row!

I’m quick losing hope in Malaysia. It’s not safe anymore :(.

To Haunt or Not to Haunt

To Haunt or Not to Haunt

We are currently on a look out for houses. Hopefully will be able to get one before the end of the year but the houses in the market that we could afford are either in Cheras which i don’t really prefer or some other places like Puchong or Shah Alam which is very far from KL.The prices had gone up too.

On our list for considerations are those in Bandar Sri Damansara or Taman Bukit Maluri, Kepong which is both near to my parents place and to Desa Park City. The boyfriends love the fact that it’s near Desa Park because i quote “It’s easier when we move to Desa Park in a few years time, it’s just next door” to which i rolled my eyes and replied “Dream on lar” -_-”.

Me, i just like that it’s near Desa Park so i could walk my dogs and go jogging in the well-guarded park without feeling that i’m in danger of being kidnapped by a sadist rapist.

If the prices goes up anymore i suggested that we do some haunting. Yes, haunting.

I think it’s a great idea, to spread rumors that the houses in the neighboring housing projects are haunted then dress as ghouls at night and prowl the area to make it more real. Then the price would go down and we would grab the house immediately.

Note that i said neighboring projects, not the one in Desa Park City because in case our plans backfires or something happens, the ones in Desa Park is still available when we retire.

Nah, i’m just kidding. I’m not going as a ghoul, the boyfriend is.

Warehouse Caught Fire in Kepong

This is me being a busybody but apparently i’m not the nosiest people around because there are throngs of people already there watching the fire. At least i didn’t purposely go there to 8. I just happened to be on my way home.

From Desa Park

The smoke was so thick and black, we saw it from Desa Park City and Mr. Bf’s boss saw it from Jalan Tun Razak.

I’m getting nearer

Warehouse on fire – next to Giamax

If it wasn’t for the super thick smoke coming from the warehouse, i would have thought that the circus had come to Kepong because there were laughter and smiles plastered on the “spectators” face as if they were watching an acrobat show at the carnival.

Carnival

And there were more people coming towards the scene, some were couples holding hands, some the whole family like on a family trip and even foreign workers with obvious excitement came to watch the ‘show’. The crowd plus those who drove all the way there caused a massive jam.

Fire

I’ve never seen a fire before so i wasted no time to pull out my camera and recorded the scene while admiring how beautiful the black smoke was, it was like a volcano had erupted. Ok, that’s really bad of me. Shame on me!

Well, it took the firemen (there were like 3 or 5 firetrucks on the scene) not very long to put the fire off. i can’t imagine with the fasting month now how they would have the energy to hose down the fire. They were still there this morning checking up on things at the warehouse.

Just Some Pics

I swear i’ll never ever to go to the drive-in KFC opposite Carefour Kepong again! The chicken sux big time. What original recipe?! Tasted like rubber chicken. I swear the wings and drumsticks and breasts were re-fried like dozen times since the day before because it sure tasted as hard and as yucky as a rubber chicken (not that i tried chewing rubber chicken before lar). Even my fav Zinger didn’t taste like Zinger :(. I should have known by the tell tale sign of the meat color.

Grrr! I mean how can they serve something like that to customer???

I remember the last time we came it was the same problem. Maybe it’ only happens on the night shift but still… Oh, well we’re boycotting this branch like for eva and eva eva.

Man, you have no idea how difficult it is to get my parents out of the house. If i people didn’t know better they would have thought there are super glue permanently stuck to their bums. (Sounds bad but honestly i’m not dissing my parents alright).

First they will reluctantly agree. Then they will change their mind. I would have to coax both of them to go so many times before they finally and sincerely agree. After that they’ll find some excuses to get the whole trip canceled. Excuses like who’s gonna feed the dog or something like that. Wtf right?

I don’t understand. If someone wants to sponsor and bring me on a road trip i’ll pack my bags and jump into the car as quick as lightning.

Thank god this trip turn out alright. Mom loved the spring. Mommy happy, me happy :).
