Little Baldy Nephew

Little Baldy Nephew

Dear baby munchkin had his hair shaved already. Rahul looks really good bald, don’t you think?

Before.

After.

It’s a Chinese tradition as well as Indian to shave the baby’s head on or after the full moon. For the Chinese it signifies the shedding of birth hair (hair from the womb). The hair is then wrapped in a piece of red cloth and then sewed on the pillow to calm the baby. The later is rarely practiced today, although most baby still have their baby shaved because it’s common believe that the hair will grow more healthy and luscious after that.

Hindu tradition on the other hand dictates that shaving of the hair (during Mundana) signifies freedom from the undesirable past and moving into the bright future as well as stimulates proper growth of the brain and nerves.

Does the Malays and Western culture have such beliefs?

Buying Tramadol Online

I am going to risk sounding like a broken record player by repeating about Tramadol. If you haven’t noticed i have written about this issue about a dozens of times but i find it necessary to write about it again because there is a very high risk of people abusing this medication.

First of all let me recap.

Tramadol is a narcotic-like medication that is used to relief moderate to severe pain. It binds with the brain receptors that sends pain signal to the body. Used in many situation to help patients with chronic pain, this medication is highly effective for some but there are always some side effects.

It is probably of no surprise that Tramadol could be purchased via online nowadays. It is a modern digitized world we live on after all. With just a click of a button, you can have the pain killer shipped to your doorstep.

Of course that could save you a lot of time and lessen the hassle but how safe it is it to actually order the medication online? Do the online stores even ask for a prescription? Most probably not.

Websites such as lowestpricetramadol.org and buytramadolonlinezone.com provide information about Tramadol and encourages users to purchase them online but if you understand properly time and time again these websites stresses that Tramadol is a prescription drugs. So please consult a physician about you condition and find out whether it is a suitable alternative for you. Be aware of the side effects especially if you are a drinker and have a history of depression.

I am not saying that buying Tramadol online is a negative thing. All i am saying is always practice caution; always buy from licensed online pharmacies. With that in mind it is easy to enjoy the benefits of ordering Tramadol online just like what tramadolnoperscription.com says.

In 2009…

2010 is drawing near. Gosh, today is already New Year’s eve! What are your plans tonight? Hmm… i doubt that i’ll be celebrating or counting down to new year since i really don’t do much of it in the past. Not that i’m not excited about the new start but i can’t stand the traffic jam and crowds of over-excited teenagers haha. So this year i’m staying at home yet again. Hey, who said i’m “happening” right? :P

I feel that i have not done anything significant this year yet i do feel that 2009 had been a very challenging year for me especially a bad year for my health. Nevertheless, it was definitely better than 2008 which like was the worst of my life.

I’m going to do a traditional short recap.

Jan 09 – Getting fit

Had a sudden realization that i’m really unhealthy. Started swimming again and jog every morning too. Broke my own record by maintaining the routine for a whole month. It was great while it lasted. Haha.

Feb 09 – Family trip to Bangkok

Phra Sri Ratana

A trip to be remembered. It was our first ever trip with the family. I can’t believe how sporting mom and dad was. It was really fun bringing them around Bangkok sightseeing and especially shopping with mom at Chatuchak Market. We ended up bring 2 luggages full of goodies and 3 big pack of Thailand instant noodle (pork noodle)! Fun, fun fun!

The trip made me realized how attached i am to my family and my parents old age hit be hard. Dad suffered from gout on the last day of our trip and had to be on a wheel chair. But i think i’ve learnt how to organize a family trip and to be more responsible after that ordeal.

Mac 09 – Hiking in Chiang Mai

hand wrestle

I had many first-time experience while in Chiang Mai. For a start, i had my first train ride from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, i saw the exclusive Oriental Express for the first time, hike for 2 hours to a village for the first time, saw my first wild boar, slept in a hut with no electricity for the first time, witness a angmoh arm wrestling for the first time. The best of all is i also ride an elephant for the very first time. I tried weed too… ok i cheated. I witness bf do the weed. :P

Apr 09 – Moved to a new Domain, bought a New Laptop and cleared of Cyst

I’ve always wanted a my own new domain. So in additional to my travel and food blog which i bought the domain long before this, i bought my very own domain name for my personal blog. A mark in history hehe.

Ok i also changed my laptop. Nothing amazing but i had to mention it la.

After months of medication, i’m finally cleared of ovarian cyst! :))

May 09 – My Dogs very Violent

My dogs (Kobe and Pou Pou) mauled a cat to death and i had to carry the injured cat on my lap to the vet. It died on my lap before we reach the vet. I was traumatized. ‘Nuff said.

June 09 – Developed allergy to Dust

June was the worst because of the bad haze. The air was really polluted and even worst, i developed allergy symptoms. Eyes itchy, throat itchy, skin itchy, i could’t sleep for the whole months due to my blocked nose.

Aug 09 – Jazz Night, Food Poisoning and a New Watch

me at nippon tei

Boyfriend and i bought tickets to the Preservation Hall Jazz Band held at the MPO. We had great fun watching the band from New Orleans play. Definitely a good introduction to jazz music.

Got a fright and thought i had H1N1 since i’m so prone to sickness and H1N1 is spreading like wild fire then. Turned out i had a bad case of food poisoning. Thank god but no thanks.

Boyfriend gave me a new watch from Fossil i had been eyeing for a long time. Such a sweetie!

Sept 09 -> Nov 09

It was a very busy month and i was swamped with things to do. Had less and less time and not to mention mood to blog.

Dec 09 – Put a dog to sleep, Colored my hair and Mom is Not Well

I have mix feelings about December. First i found an old injured and abandoned dog at the park near my house. I had to let the vet put him to sleep because he was in too much pain. I’ve never in my life witness a dog being euthanised and believe me when i say nothing you read could prepare you for the very moment when the dog goes limp. It was really sad.

new hair color

I decided to color my hair again because i just can’t stand having black hair. It makes me look messy and dirty. The salon did a rather alright job and i’m pretty happy about it except i want to cut it into a medium bob but my stylist refuse to do it. I’m getting it done no matter what. 2010 – short hair.

December is also a month that i feel i got closer to mom and i found out more about her. I had no idea she really had phobia of doctors and clinic up till i force her for a visit. Mom had been sick for quite a while now but yet she refuse to go to the clinic. When finally i managed to coax her to the clinic she was trembling in the waiting room. Like really shivering and trembling.

Well after that visit and another visit to the hospital we still don’t have the result. Let’s hope 2010 will bring good news.

Healthy Lifestyle

Living a healthy lifestyle could be so tiring but i’m determined to continue my morning walk every morning. My weight is not going down but the post-jog/walk feeling is exhilarating. The healthy and slim aunties in the park is a source of inspiration you know. I wonder how long have they been going for walks there. I want waistline like that…hmmm…

I’m turning brown under the baking hot sun. Whatever happened to fresh morning dew and mild morning sun? Nowadays my skin hurts under the blazing sun. I need to get a strong sunblock and a long sleeve top before i turn into a lobster.

Oh! There’s adorable tortoises in the lake at the park where i have my morning walk too. Hundreds of them! There’s something about watching tortoises swim. Perhaps maybe even therapeutic watching the hundreds of heads popping out of the water and disappearing all of a sudden.

Note to myself, collect bread crumbs to feed kura kura comel at the park :).

I was having shower this morning when i noticed that i was absent mindedly cleaning the soap box. Actually i just realized that everytime i shower i will automatically reach out for the soap box and start scrapping off the chunks of soap residues till it’s squeaky clean.

Is it only me or does everyone do that? I guess i have another disorder to worry about. I’m so weird. LOL.

.
.
.

My dogs still have ticks on their body. It’s reducing because the weather is so darn hot. I guess ticks only likes raining weather. But to not take the risk, i frisk my dogs each day searching for any trace of ticks.

I’m now officially an expert tick hunter. Yay. Hurray. Hand me an award.

I have pictures from a family trip to Sungai Klah but my lappie is dying on me. Keep hanging. Who wants to sponsor me a new lappie?

I look ridiculous and Mr. Bf look like Bruce Lee…which is appropriate because his surname is Lee… but he prefer me to call him Keanu Lee (rolls eye).

Exhausted

I’m pretty exhausted this whole week. Due to my sudden realization that i’m actually not a pretty/hot young thing anymore and needed extra effort (exercise) to keep myself off excess weight, i’ve been working out obsessively with hula hoops and breeze walking every day. What is it with age and metabolism? It’s a farking conspiracy i tell you.

Shopping isn’t therapeutic anymore when you can’t fit in 90% of the clothes you tried on. It’s becoming depressing. Is it me or is the women in Malaysia shrinking in size? I barely spotted anyone not looking like Taiwanese dolls.

After a truckload of clothes i tried on. Only this fit.

Regret didn’t get the skirt… i swear i look slimmer than this

Well, i’m feeling slimmer and my skin is clearer already (i think i’m hallucinating, i need oxygen). I hope i can keep up with this new healthy lifestyle.

But no fear. I’m still keen on the boutique-for-larger-size-women-with-mural-that-makes-fun-of-skinny-bitches idea.

Hostmonster is doing an upgrade… without informing users. It’s so annoying. Mr. Bf woke me up yesterday morning and freaked me out. My travel and food blog is inaccessible. Even today it’s still not up yet.

And here i was thinking of getting a new domain for this personal blog. I was gonna use park it under Hostmonster. Thinking twice.
