Where Do i Get This?

Where Do i Get This?

Where.to.get.this.bag??

Coach Sabrina Madison 12937 in ROSE.

Ok, i actually don’t remember the actual color because i’ve been staring at Coach bags so long and they have so many shades of pink and cherry and magenta and wtf else color that i’m confused now.

But the one i saw was definitely rose which i think is something like the picture above.

China site have one labeled pink rose which looks like it but you can’t really trust the color they put online right? And what’s with pink rose? Pink is pink. Rose is rose la!!!

i’m sorry i’m acting like a crazy woman but i’m obsessive like that.

I saw this in the mall in the weekend and it looked awesome. Well there was only one and it the color was rose and but it’s like so expensive in the actual Coach store that i’m determined not to buy it there. Not that i can’t afford it lar because i’m a multi-millionaire but i’m very the cheapskate like that.

Why pay for the extra when you can get a better bargain right?

But why the effing hell is it so hard to locate this particular color???!!!

Maybe i’m going to the mall to try it on again just for the fun of it. Gawd i’m so cheapskate la.

Fickle as a Pickle

Oooo that rhymes. I’m so good at this ahaha.

Ok here’s the problem. Remember the Coach bag and phone tug of war thingy?

I found a site offering super low price for a Coach tote that i kind of like. Which means i have no idea to get the Coach bag which i kind of like or the Fossil bag that i’m not sure i don’t like. Both around the same price.

Then there’s the thing with choosing a mobile phone. I’m super fickle and picky. Now i have on one hand e72 which i think i really like and on the other hand there is the 6600i which i am passive about but the boyfriend likes it and it’s almost have the price of e72.

So do i get the

1) Coach + e72 = a very happy smiley me :) :) :) :) + utterly guilt ridden for blowing the “future home fund” and boyfriend’s chance of getting the Milestone :( :( :( :(

2) Coach + 66100i = happy me :) :) :) + guilt free :)

3) Fossil + e72 = happy smiley me i think :) :)

4) Fossil + 66100i = kind of happy i think T_T

So apa macam?

I’m not posting the pic of the bags because people are so judgmental lar of other people’s taste muahaha. i’m going to post once i have decided ok.

Dilemma

Dilemma

This is why people says i’m geeky and not girlish nor feminine enough for my own good… and is the reason why the boyfriend and i are so compatible. He’s 99% geek while i’m.. well 80% maybe?

nokia-e72

Given a choice between a spanking new Coach bag or a new mobile phone, any other female would jump on the wagon and paddle to the nearest Coach store. But no! Geeky me spent a whole week contemplating the dilemma and still have not reach a decision.

Yes, i spent the whole CNY thinking about this very difficult choice. I was thinking about the phone and the bag while i dropped my chopsticks in the yee sang :P.

Girls don’t kill me please >.<

So, i posted the question on facebook and Patrick had super advise that goes something like

“You should get the Coach because phones are of no value unless your phone is really so obsolete so it doesn’t goes well with the new bag”

Great suggestion, no? The problem is both my phone and my bag is like super dinosaur-kindoff obsolete lor. So how?

Then i realized i still have a teeny weeny bit of bimbo sense in me when i decided to get a bag instead. That and because all the female member of my family and female friends has been whacking my head telling me how stupid i am not to get a Coach.

But guess what? Now that i had a look at the whole bag collection, i think i would rather get the phone. What the hell is so nice about Coach bags?!

So now it’s either the phone or this pretty thing Emma Watson is carrying on her shoulder.

Handy Man Outfit

I saw this really big tote bag at FOS and i thought it was so cute, i gotta have it.

The front of the back says “Handy Bag” in blue with a red frame around the words. Very workshop-ish. LOL.

The reverse side of the bag says “Banana Moon”. Very cute. LOL.

So i bought it. Yeah, i know i’m not ever gonna bring it out but it’s too geeky to pass out.

Then i saw this green checkered top at Kitschen. Omg, imagine the top paired with a denim skirt and the handy bag! I have a vivid picture of myself running around in the outfit.  It’ll be so cute *wakaka!

The only thing missing is a safety helmet… or maybe a fake hammer or a drill.

Shopping in Siem Reap

17th July 2007 (still)
==============

You could get around town by foot, bicycles *there were many for rental, or by tuk-tuk . Always bargain with the tuk-tuk drivers for a cheaper rate. They asked for USD3 per tuk-tuk but we managed to get it for USD1.50. If you’re really good, you can get the ride for USD1 only (we found out later).

Oh yeah, the drivers didn’t seemed to understand ‘one fifty’ as in USD1.50. We had to tell them ‘one and a half’ instead.

The Old Market is at the south of town. Quite a happening place where we found stalls selling souvenirs and other tourist junk. To name a few, there were miniature wood/stone carvings, silk shawls, paintings, bags, gems *not sure if it’s genuine though, etc… Things there were not as cheap as those sold by peddlers around the temples vicinities but there were more varieties.

From old market..nice hor?

Do bargain with the sellers for the best price. You can lower it down by at less 70%-80% of the quoted price. Oh, and you can get a better bargain if you buy in bulks of more than 3-5 pieces of each item.

Most sellers speaks Chinese and since PigDog Klan* had MicrophoneChiang as out trusty negotiator, we had no problem getting around *very talented negotiator, he is :p.

I managed to get 5 pieces of shawls for USD1.50 each and 2 Tshirts as souvenir for USD2 each. SweetToothTim, SnapMe!Eve and BigSistaJune bought some gem bracelets. Many stalls sell gems around there. Many varieties in many sizes.

Most of the stalls sell similar stuffs but the price varies. So, it’s best to go around the whole market for a survey of price.

Talking bout surveys, EatAllYouCanShung got conned the day before. He bought 2 books *bookworm! from the peddlers at the temples for USD14 *so cheap hor? kena con got lar … We found out later that some other peddlers selling one of the books for only USD1 ! *whacks head So, do survey first before buying.

PuppyEyes bought us to another souvenir shop before we went to Old Market. I forgot the name *sorry. You need to get visitors passes (FOC) to get in. The stuffs there were super expensive. Not a good idea to go to those big modern shop lots or souvenir shops.

Next stop Cambodia Cultural Village. This park was well built and maintained. Within the village, there was a small wax museum and alot of miniature monuments. Here is a chance for tourists like us to watch dance shows telling about Cambodian cultures.

Admission fee is USD9 per person and additional USD5 to hire a guide. Ours are free :P

I found the museum a tad too boring for me. Nevertheless, it’s a great place to learn about Cambodia’s history.

It started to rain again. Instead of exploring by foot we took a ride on the Electric Tour Cars.

See the difference?? Nope. Me neither…

We went for 3 cultural dance performances that day. Loads of people there. There were locals watching the shows too but mostly tourists like us.

The narration during the shows were in 3 different languages. Japanese, Chinese and Khmer…. *why no English??!!

Err… the cultural dance shows were bit boring too. *yawn. Except for the last performance :)

The final skit told us about Cambodian traditional wedding ceremony. They even invited an audience to act as the bridegroom! *wakaka My favourite character in the show is the stooge in traditional Chinese costume. He plays one of the 3 suitors. He was so damn funny!

Very enjoyable show.
