Wow! The sister’s Indian wedding ceremony at Sungai Petani is just around the corner; next weekend actually. Then it’ll be 2 weeks after to her KL reception. How time flies.

In the pass months the sis had been over her head with stuff to prepare; wedding decorations, invitations, dresses, photography sessions, wedding bands, etc, etc. On top of that the parents are really making a lot of unnecessary fuss that’s not going to make things easier.

I’m pretty excited because i get to wear a gorgeous saree and at the dinner i get to look my best. :). Ok, i’ve already admit before that i hate weddings but this is different because i’m with family and they are not petite little things that make me look like a giant slob.

But my god, i do hope that the parents won’t insist on having a Chinese wedding dinner when my turn comes. I absolutely protest! You know, i find Chinese weddings absolutely over-rated. It’s way too commercialized nowadays. I do not understand the need to change into so many different dresses at the dinner and the photography sessions are so over the top. It’s like holding an exhibition. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me.

Why can’t weddings be like this?
