Vichy Normaderm range is a popular choice for acne skin. I’ve heard quite a handful of people singing praises for this brand of products that had supposed to improve acne prone skin tremendously.
In fact i’ve bought 2 products from this range a while back before i decided to go on acne medication (oratane) to tackle my skin problem; one is the Normaderm Night Chrono-Action Anti-imperfection Care (What a mouthful huh?!) which retailed at RM98 at that time.
It’s a little confusing; the name of the product i mean. It also goes by the name “Night Chrono-Active Pore Refining Care” or “Normaderm Night Chrono-Active Anti-Imperfection Care”. All names refer to the same product.
What’s for sure is this product is designed to eliminate shine, reduce pore size while keep the face hydrated. To be used at night on cleansed skin, the Pore-Targeting Technology and Zincadone A™ tighten pores and refine skin texture. It’s also non-comedogenic and allergy tested.
The creamy texture is whitish and light. Not at all oily. Once applied on the face, the skin immediately feels smooth and pores are less visible. My skin also feels less oily the next morning when i woke up. I was rather impressed with it.
Unfortunately after 2 weeks of using the cream i saw only a slight improvement on my pores. My skin is still oily but is a definitely less compared to before but i still have breakouts. After the first tube, i stopped using it which then my pores becomes visible again like before.
Maybe i’m being biased after hearing so many great praises of the product. I had my hopes up high; i expected the product to be stronger.
