Here’s the situation today.

It was raining cats and dogs. You know, thunder, lighting and all the works.

Rain tapping… no. Rain thumping hard on the windows. The wind blowing so strong and hard, the eerie howling made the hair on the back of my neck stand.

The three stooges were in a state of frenzy.

Doodle had her tail and ear tucked in; burrowing into the conveniently empty corner of my room. Shaking like a nervous wreck every time the thunder rumbles.

Pou also had her ear and tailed tucked in and looking feverishly terrified; successfully smuggled herself into my parents room by camouflaging as a ragged towel behind the door.

And Kobe. She was having a field day running around the house beaming in excitement oblivious to everything else, consumed in happiness.

That’s how it is in my home when the rain decided to pour.
