Top 3 Men I’ll Do Anything With

Top 3 Men I'll Do Anything With

I thought this would be fun to do since i am such a lousy blogger with nothing to write about. So i thought i would steal a topic from others. Haha.

Anyways, i read some blog posts over the week, they were writing about the top 3 hottest men (celebrities lar else their partner will go amok and who cares who they are secretly besotted with in real life anyways right?!) that they would love to bonk.

I was like “Yeah i could pick a few names out of my head just like that and i could give you a hell long of a list if you would really like to know!”

But just to keep with the flow i’ll just name 3.

#1 – Ryan Reynolds

Do i even need to explain??

Any man that looks this good with a tux, without one; with beard and without is on top of my list! The abs, the perfect abs man… i would do anything to touch those abs.

How can someone be so sexy yet so guy-next-doorsy??! *swoon*

And for that, even though Scarlett Johansson is gorgeous, i hate her. And while i am at that, i hate Sandra Bullock too. That nude collision? It should have been me!

#2 – Johnny Depp

Gawd i have something for bad boys. Johnny Depp should have been number 1 but Ryan Reynold’s abs won.

Nevertheless, Johnny still has a special place in my heart.

He’s great looking, sexy and talented.

He’s a pirate for god’s sake! He even looks delicious in eyeliner!

#3 – Jonathan Rhys Meyers

For the blue eyes and sexy Irish accent.

And for his sublime body.

Actually i’ve never heard of him or watched any of his movies till i saw him in one of the Hugo advertisements. And i was hooked.

Ok, he sucked at From Paris with Love (as John Travolta’s sidekick) but he looked great in the Armani suits who cares about his acting.

I wouldn’t mind being the XX chromosome here.

Hmm… it seems that there is a recurring patent here. All 3 guys have gorgeous body and looks great in tux. Haha.

Who’d the top 3 on your list?

Bodiful Volumizing Leave-on Serum by d’Hair Shop

D’Hair Shop has a wide range of hair care products, all really, really tempting. They have all kind of products for all types of hair; dry scalp, oily scalp, curly hair, straight hair and etc. The formulation is suppose to be from France so they are  like really exclusive.

The brand is still in it’s infancy and there are only 2 outlets in Malaysia if i’m not mistaken; one in Pavilion KL and another in Mid Valley Mega Mall.

I stumbled upon the outlet a while back. The shop assistant wasn’t really convincing LOL. Really super blur when i asked questions.

Anyways, i have thin, dry and limp hair that’s very stubborn. I needed something that would make my hair looks more in volume than it is now so i chose the product from the Bodiful range. I bought a leave-on serum that both works as a moisturizer and a volumizer.

The Bodiful range is to control hair fall and promote healthy hair growth with the help of biotin and  at the same time gives it volume. Retails for RM49.90 for 100ml.

The Volumizing Leave-on Serum is a non-sticky spray-on serum. It smells really good and it definitely works to create volume. After spraying it on and then blow drying, the hair have this bouncy feel to it; it looks like i have more hair than i really do.

I am not sure about hair growth though – after using about half a bottle i didn’t feel a big difference. I would have liked that my hair to be more moist and shiny too but unfortunately that is not the case. It’s great for styling but not the ultimate product for serious hydrating and hair growth.

Origins Checks and Balances™ Frothy Face Wash

Origins Checks and Balances™ Frothy Face Wash is one of the best cleanser that i have bought.

I have sensitive and combination skin (oily T-zone and dry dehydrated patches everywhere else) which is not the easiest skin to buy face wash for. Some face wash makes my skin oily just a few hours after washing and some leaves my skin very dry and flaky.

Origins Checks and Balances™ face wash is a gentle face wash that’s perfect for my skin type. It thoroughly cleansers the face from dirt and control secretion of sebum while at the same time protects the dry area.

The face wash contains ingredients such as Broad Leaf Kelp Extract that discourages excess oil production, Wheat Protein that balances and protects dry prone zones and Tourmaline that makes water wetter to more easily disperse dirt and sebum down the drain.

It contains Bergamot, Spearmint and Lavender smells fabulous. The spearmint gives it a minty and refreshing touch. I just love it!

It lathers really well. A little goes a long way. Just a small amount is enough to foam into a creamy lather so the tube could last a really, really long time.

I love the fact that it leaves the face squeaky clean without any residue feeling. The skin doesn’t feel tight after washing but instead the skin feels soft and moist.

It retails at RM88.00 for 150ml (i’m not really sure because i get mine from US when my sis comes back).

Gigantus

I don’t like attending weddings. I’m not speaking of any particular weddings i have attended so no offense really. I just don’t feel the vibe. Period.

I’m talking about Chinese wedding – because i am Chinese, where the bridegroom and the bride will have around 200++ combination of friends (mostly friends of the parents), colleagues, close relatives and long lost relatives that they didn’t even know existed.

At the wedding dinner, the guests are serve with up to 10 exorbitantly priced dishes which technically are paid for by the guests themselves since they are obliged to present the wedding couple with red packets filled with money – the polite thing to do is to supply more than what your head count at the table is worth. It doesn’t make sense but it’s an on-going tradition to be observed.

The guests sits at the round table made for ten, having small portion of food not unlike attending a food tasting event, get drunk and go home.

It might actually be fun if you are attending your closest friend’s wedding so you are among friends at the table. Sometimes it’s about attending the weddings of friends of your partner. In my case, both doesn’t appeal much to me.

Oh, it’s not so bad really. It’s not like i-had-the-worst-day-of -my-life kind of situation but i find it weird that i don’t know most of the people i’m sitting with and making polite conversation makes my skin crawl. What do you say to someone you have only met maybe once or twice? Do you complement about his/her looks (which you may actually like or you may absolutely loath and that makes the compliment such a big pretentious lie) or do you ask about what they are doing in their life (which sounds so business-like at a friendly wedding dinner and worst they might be doing something really uninteresting which you pray to god that he/she won’t elaborate further)? Do you discuss about the weather???

After a brief exchange of words, then what? Smile whenever you caught someones eyes and hope the food comes quick so you can stuff your face with it just to avoid making conversation.

Speaking about food, hotel food isn’t that great to start with. It’s a nuisance really. The dinner starts at 8pm; not too early, not too late. You have your breakfast, then lunch and you can’t have dinner because you will be attending the wedding at eight and you can’t really snack because then you might be too full or worst, your waistline will expend a few centimeters ruining the silhouette of the dress you are going to wear.

So you wear your best dress and go to the venue with an empty stomach. You are famished by the time the appetizers are served and the first bite of food makes you realize something. The food sucks.

For me, it’s the worst kind of epiphany attending weddings. It makes me realize… or a better word would be remember, that i am not the prettiest girl or the most feminine among all the female there. I stand out at weddings not because i am stunning but because i am unusually tall with a slight slouch, bad body posture, always with the bad luck of getting a bad short haircut before any events, least make-up and even less make-up skills and awkward to a point of seeming geeky. Weddings make me remember all the flaws i have. It make me feel ugly.

And i am the most un-photogenic person i have ever known. I’m the giant and the other girls are smurfets. But how do you decline taking photographs with the smurfets without seeming rude? You can’t.

That’s it. What i hate most about attending weddings is that it makes me feel inadequate. By the end of the day when i go home, i feel ugly and sad and i pray to god that the hideous evidents (photos) of my imperfection does not get published on any social networking sites. Fat chance; by the next day it’ll be crawling all over the pages.

Crowd Control

Nothing frustrates me more than to see someone jump queue especially if it’s happening to me. Imagine a mad rush to the counter to get a ticket or to make payment at the cashier only to be met by a long queue that seems to go on forever. Then after a tiresome wait, someone have the guts to just walk straight to the counter ignoring the fact that it’s actually your turn.  It makes me so mad when that happens!

I think every fast food joint, Cineplex, bank, food court, book signing events and any other such public places needs to exercise some crowd control.  Even at the airport the crowd could get out of control because trust me not all airports have stanchions. I have the unfortunate time at these airports where everyone was elbowing everyone else to get to the counter.

Crowd control products such as stanchions and Crowd control products such as and velvet rope help the public stay in line; so there’s no confusion and no queue jumping.  Stanchions with retractable belts are placed in front of the counter so that people would know where the line is and enable them to wait for their turn in an orderly way.

barricades are one product that not only serves as a great crowd control item but it’s also useful as temporary blocking product. Take for an instance at a warehouse or at a crime scene where the person in charge might use safety barricades to restrict public access.

It would be a more peaceful world if there were crowd control products where it should be. Yes, it’ll definitely put things in order and we would have less excuse to be frustrated.

Happy Raya and Happy Malaysia Day!

I’m late again… and this is another bunched up greetings-cum-post fillers which i noticed is becoming a trend here on my blog.

It’s such a busy month and i’m wishing that the end of the month arrives soon before i fall sick from fatigue.

His parents and aunt are down for holidays, my sis (which i don’t really get along with) is also here for a week, we are still house hunting albeit not very successful because finding a good agent is a bitch and of course the time constraint, then there’s the house warming not to mention weddings to attend which also means wedding gift and dinner dress hunting. Everything is going on in the same blardy month.

Phew!

Anyways, don’t let me dampen the spirit.

Let me wish all the Muslims a Selamat Hari Raya – even if i’m too late, and a Happy, happy Malaysia Day!

Here’s a video from Digi which i find both heart warming and hilariously cute.

Talented guy huh?

The tagline “We are all different. But still same same” kind of remind me of the trekking guides we met in Chiang Mai. They thought we were Japanese at first but when we told them we were Malaysian Chinese the laughed and said “Different but same same”. It quickly became a overly used verse on our whole trekking session. Every time we met Europeans or Americans the guys will shout “Different but same same”.

I guess we are all the same no matter where we are in the world :).

Garnier Men Aquafuel Energizing Detoxifying Gel Wash

Phew! That’s a mouthful!

I’ve ran out of face wash. The last product i’ve used left my skin really dry with peeling skin.

This time i’ve decided to try the Garnier MEN AquaFuel range. For RM!!!@@ (100ml), it contains ginseng and green tea extract that’s supposed to detoxify and leave my skin energized.

Wrong choice.

The next morning after the first wash, i found my upper lips very dry. On the next few days (still using the gel wash) my upper lips was chapped and became inflamed.

Obviously, i’m allergic to some ingredients in this face wash. I suspect it’s the green tea extract because i read an article online saying that green tea extract might cause allergic reactions and one of it is swollen lip.

This is one product that’s going into my thrash bin.

Note: Not everyone is allergic to this product so by all means do not take my word for it. It might work really well for you.
