inmyinsurance.com

It’s the fasting month for the Malays again and before we know it the much awaited Hari Raya will be celebrated with joy and festivity.

This means there’ll be lots of cakes and cookies and absolutely delicious food to go around but it also means that our Malay friends will be traveling back to their respectful hometown to celebrate with families during the holidays.

I hope everyone will remember to drive safely. It’s horrible to flip open the newspaper and read about the many road accidents during the holidays. Every time there is such news i would hold my breath and scan the article hoping i don’t see any familiar names. Do be careful on the road please.

Speaking of driving and accidents, have you bought or renew your car insurance? It’s awfully important to makes sure that you car is under full coverage just in case anything happens but it’s rather difficult to choose the right insurance company and the relevant insurance policy don’t you think?

inmyinsurance.com provides car insurance quotes to ease the trouble. Also on the website are tips on how to select the perfect policy such as how to spot loop holes in policies that gives insurance companies the excuse not to pay for damages, advice on system of discounts and to always analyze the amount of cases that the company had actually paid to clients.

There are a handful of information on all types of car insurance on the websites like car insurance for women, temporary insurance, antique auto insurance and many, many more. I think it’s a good idea to do some research before actually getting a car insurance coverage.

The Face Shop Freshian Real Tint

The two make-up items that i must have with me when i go out are mascara and blusher. Every girl wants to look radiant and flushed especially for those with pale and sickly looking skin. Applying a dash of blusher gives me a natural healthy glow.

Previously, i’ve used conventional powder blusher but i find that i didn’t like it so much because it’s messy (the blusher cracks and mess up my make-up pouch with pink residue) and i needed to re-apply it a few times within a day because it rubs off easily.

That’s when i started to experiment with cheek tint.

I’m currently using The Face Shop Freshian Real Tint. It comes in 2 colors, the cherry and wine. I’m using wine which is darker and more natural as compared to cherry which is a lighter peachy pink color.

Lip and cheek tint is not messy at all and it has longer staying power; The Face Shop tint last the whole day without the need to re-apply. It doesn’t irritate the skin at all.

The bottle is secure and doesn’t leak, perfect for travel.

It’s easy to apply. Just draw a “Nike” sign on the cheekbone and blend it in. In an instant you’ll have a natural pinkish glow.

You can apply it on the lips as well but i’m don’t usually like to apply anything on the lips besides lip balm.

The lip and cheek tint cost around RM30.00 i recall but i’m not sure of the actual price. I’m still not done with my first bottle!

Unfortunately, i do not think that it’s still available in The Face Shop outlet in Malaysia. I’ve recently went to a few of the outlets in the mall but the staff at Pavilion KL told me it’s out of stock and the one in KLCC haven’t even heard of it. I do know that the Australian website still carries this range.

Stain and Poison

Watching these 2 short clip really broke my heart and made me teared up.

Raise awareness. Save the moon bears… use alternative medicine!

Stain – the title of the first 60-second announcement, produced in Mandarin and English, likens the intelligence of moon bears to that of a child and calls for empathy from viewers to support Animals Asia in their campaign to end bear farming. This message is intended to raise awareness of the plight of these beautiful bears, and will be distributed across Asia.

Poison – this second announcement is targeted at users that consume bear bile and highlights the potential health risks of taking bile that is contaminated. This has also been produced in Mandarin and English and has already been launched in China.

Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Moisture Kick Spray Conditioner

Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Moisture Kick Spray Conditioner is one product that i can’t leave without now. I’ve started using it 3 months back and it’s doing great for my colored and dry hair.

The spray conditioner is a leave-in conditioner suitable for damaged and dry hair and restoring the moisture balance. It smoothes brittle hair and do wonders when you have frizzy hair days.

Containing Hyaluronic acid derivate (amino acid and Milk-Protein Complex) which locks in moisture, it re-balances hair’s moisture level keeping it hydrated and smooth without weighing it down.

For me, my hair definitely is more hydrated now compared to before. My hair is not super shiny or bouncy now but if compared to before (results of hair re-bonding, coloring and natural dehydrated hair) it’s a big improvement; although still a little dry, it’s less brittle and doesn’t break easily.

I have less frizzy hair day too because not only does the spray combat the dryness, it helps to retain blow-dried hairstyle longer. Before, when i blow dry my hair to style within a few hours my hair will be all over the place. With the spray conditioner it’s easier to manage and my hair stays in place.

I have extremely fine hair which tends be weighed down and to go limp whenever i use serums or other hair conditioners. It doesn’t happen when i use this Moisture Kick Spray Conditioner.

The only complaint i have is the fragrance. It’s nice but i think it’s too strong the instant you spray it on the hair. However, it’s ok because the fragrance evaporates after a while leaving the hair smelling nice but not too strong.

It’s very much economical. By the rate i’m using (which is every day); i think the bottle of 200ml could last me for at least 9 to 10 months. Priced at RM49.00 it’s a good catch if you asked me. But do check with your salon because retail shop tends to sell it at a higher price. The price varies.

How to use it?
————–

1) Shake well to mix the 2 phases of liquid in the bottle.
2) Spray it on damp, towel dried hair.
3) Do not rinse.

  • Daytime: Blow-dry and style hair.
  • Night: Use it as leave-in conditioner to re-hydrate hair.
