Hada Labo AHA/BHA Exfoliating Face Wash

As promised here is the review of Hada Labo products that i have personally tested.

But before i start (and before you start reading :) ), please check out my skin analysis for a better comparison.

I have been using the Hada Labo AHA/BHA Exfoliating Face Wash for almost 2 weeks now. I love that the face wash foam really well so it just takes very small dollop to work the whole face; rather economical.

As i have sensitive skin, it’s great that the it doesn’t contain small beads (like normal scrubs does) which tends to be too harsh on my skin.

Also, the product is unscented and does not contains unnecessary additives, colourant, fragrance and mineral oil yet it clean pores thoroughly and polishes the skin from dead skin cells with it’s AHA and BHA ingredients.

That did it for me, the minute i read about that i went and grab myself the promo pack. Haha.

Day 1: My face felt very smooth and soft after using the facial wash cum exfoliator. I was very happy that it didn’t leave my skin feeling raw and red. My acne did not flare up either.

Day 2: Woke up with face feeling soft. No trace of new pimple or allergy.

Day 3: Skip using it.

Day 4: Skip using it.

Day 5: Felt great on the skin and skin is once again smooth and soft.

Day 6: No allergies or any negative effects.

Day 7: Skin was slightly red and noticed a few white heads on the acne area.

Conclusion:

Frankly, i love Hada Labo AHA/BHA Exfoliating Face Wash because it really works great. It really polishes the skin and my skin never felt so soft before. But i guess that it’s rather too strong for me to be using it on a daily basis because of the (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) and BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) substance.

I have been using it day and night for the last 3 consecutive days of the first week and my skin was sensitive towards it. So, i tried alternating it, using it only 2 or 3 times in the next week and my skin felt great again. No redness and not side effect.

And i’m happy with the product again :)!

Hada Labo Promo Pack

Ok, i’ve been meaning to write about this but the internet connection was down for a few days so it’s just too bad.

Have you heard of the Japanese skin care brand, Hada Labo?

Well, it’s the new craze right now with it’s tag line “One drop locks up an ocean”. Guardian pharmacy is now carrying the brand’s product as well as a promo pack. I’m not sure if it’s still available because i bout mine last week but i’ll check it out during the weekend.

There are 2 ranges of product, one for hydrating and another for whitening. The promo set only caters for the hydrating range.
