The puppy business is really bugging me… like alot.
We’ve taken step 2) b) but it’s not turning out well. The doctor called me up this afternoon to inform me that the puppy’s condition isn’t too optimistic. The X-ray reveals that both the pup’s hind legs are injured. One is pretty easy to fix with a small surgery and another is dislocated so it’s a bit complicated. That’ll cost almost RM1000 (X-ray + surgeries on both leg) but it doesn’t guarantee complete healing.
Now i’m back to step 1 which is choose euthanasia (put her to sleep) or send her in for surgery.
Some readers had brought up the issue of SPCA. The reason i did not send her straight to SPCA is because SPCA is already so full with strays and both you and me knows that the chance of the pup getting adopted after she healed is very slim. Initially i was hoping to mend her and find a good home for her.
The vet (the only vet open at that late hour yesterday) isn’t too keen on keeping her either. Actually i regret bringing her to that particular vet (i’m not going to mention which) in Kepong. It’s so expensive but the doctor and the staff are like robots. All they care is to make a few extra bucks off of you. We had to deposit RM200 just to keep her there for a night. Imagine that!
I wish i had taken a photo of the poor pup so i could share it here. She’s so pretty and pitiful. Sigh…

uhm…hopefully the puppy heal all right. ban the money minded veterinarian!
yeah… hope so. stupid vet. wan $$$ oni…
