Frustrating Mother’s Day

Don’t you think Mother’s Day… in fact all the ‘Day(s) like Father’s Day and Valentines day or whatever is so commercialized nowadays? I mean its great that we have a special day dedicated to mom for all the things that she had done for us. But why hell is every restaurant in town fully booked with longer list of reservations than my shopping list?!

Reservation doesn’t work. Most probably the staff would have given your table to someone else or we would have to wait for those inconsiderate people who had finished with their meal but keep yakking into oblivion ignoring long waiting patrons boring their eyes on their back.

We drove all the way to Pantai Seafood Reastaurant in PJ but it was packed like hell. The waiting list is still long. No, we didn’t make any reservations but i don’t think that will help coz staff couldn’t keep track of the present reservations.

Then we drove all the way to Ara Damansara’s Lalachong Seafood only to arrive at about 9pm and they ran out of ingredients for most of the dishes. The food wasn’t that great anyways. It’s so frustrating.

I’ve vowed to celebrate these occasions a day before or after the exact date, in the future. Now, why didn’t i think of that earlier -_-”
