People Fleeing Over Flood and Landslides

Another tragic disaster strikes again. Soon after the Myanmar people suffered (i should say still suffering due to idiocy of the militant) from the lashes of Nargis Cyclone, this time major earthquake hit China. Death toll is already up to 28,881 and another 198,347 injured, i could only imagine how many more are still buried alive or even dead left un-found under the debris and slabs of concrete.

It’s already 72 hours since the tremors and rescue efforts already had extended to foreign aids surging in to help. That says alot since China had expected to be able to cope by themselves till recently. They do have the man power but it seems time is not in the waiting game.

Now it seems that the worst is not over. People are fleeing the epicenter of the quake in fear of flash flooding and landslides. Concerns over damaged dams and rising water have caused a stampede.

This events (China earthquake and Myanmar Nargis Cyclone) have left a deep impact on my mind because the mass victims punished by Mother Nature. It seems that Mother Nature is making a statement… the hard way. Mother Nature is letting us know she’s in charge. I just have that foreboding feeling that more will come.

Whatever it is, i am praying for all the victims of this tragedy and hoping for the best. Kudos to the rescue teams and those who had done their part in the rescue effort.

I’m So Weak

Chinese Medicine is not working for me at all. After 3 rounds of consultations and spending around RM400 on the medicine, i’m still not feeling any better.

It scares me a little coz i seem to have 7 out of 9 of the below symptoms.

Symptoms (Ovarian Cancer)

  • Pelvic or abdominal pain, pressure, swelling, or discomfort
  • Vague, but persistent, gastrointestinal upsets such as gas, nausea, and indigestion
  • Frequency and/or urgency of urination in the absence of an infection
  • Unexplained changes in bowel habits
  • Unexplained weight gain or weight loss, particularly weight gain in the abdominal region
  • Pelvic and/or abdominal swelling, bloating, and/or feeling of fullness
  • Ongoing fatigue
  • Leg pain
  • Unusual vaginal bleeding—a rare sign of ovarian cancer. More likely, vaginal bleeding is a sign of another type of abnormality. Bleeding may occur between menstrual periods. Heavier than normal menstrual bleeding, and menstrual bleeding that lasts longer than normal are considered unusual signs.

This might sound weird but i kinda hope it is ovarian cancer (touch wood! touch wood! touch wood!)… well just a minor one at that… coz if it is then i’ll know what is actually wrong with me. Now i’m just having really vague kinda sickness. Which really sux…
