Earlier i had mentioned that the new Maybank Visa Debit Card is currently not usable for PayPal transaction. However, i’ve read some comments from other bloggers who had encountered the same problem saying that Maybank will open up the service tentatively this coming June.
I have written to Maybank Customer Service to confirm and got a reply that goes:-
“The card can also be used for mail, online and telephone order purchases which will be available in the second phase within the year.”
The reply is very vague and did not directly answer my question on whether it would be open for online PayPal withdrawal. I doubt that if i probe further i would get an answer. However, lets keep our fingers cross. I am definitely looking forward if there is an enhancement coz Maybank would be a more convinient alternative.
hopefully they can made it, cos most of us apply is because of verify the paypal
Maybe year end only you can use it online gua.
