When the grooming center and the obedience training school were launched, pet owners flocked in to sign up for the programs. Then cashing in on the hype, the 5 star pet hotel (De’ Ritz Pet Hotel) was opened. *with air-condition some more -_-”. I had my doubts but apparently there are people checking their pets into the hotel. It’s pretty amazing how owners pamper their pets nowadays right?! Anyways, back to my lint roller hunt. I’ve found my roller and was on my way to the cashier when a staff handed me a free copy of a pet magazine, Petster which by the way is the mag’s first edition. The mag has some pretty… ahem… incredible info about pets. As if a pet hotel in Ikano and KLIA (yup, we have one at KLIA… in fact a very luxurious one) is not crazy enough, now we have Pet Love Motels! The motel offers air-conditioned rooms, satin sheets, ceiling heart-shaped mirrors, dim lights, cushions and of course romantic music! All the works for some TLC time dedicated for pets who wants some discretion while getting it on. It’s insane! I don’t know about you, but i felt a bit uncomfy reading about this motel. More disturbing is they have DVD that will excite dogs *dog porn?! eww! and even offer artificial insemination services. Fortunately the motel is only available at Soa Paulo coz i don’t think it’s legal (lawfully or morally) here… yet. What we DO have in Malaysia is pet fashion. Yeah, pets make the new fashion guru now. Besides the exclusive gemstone collars available at most pet stores, now we have bags built to carry pooches. The stylish pooch bags available are now in par with our human handbags. Leopard prints also have ler muahahaha! I find it darn farny. Maybe next time will have pet luggages. Imagine trolling a German Sheppard around town! Then there is the nail polish for dogs. This is even more disturbing than the love motel. At least the motel has a purpose which is for dog breeding. I can’t find any excuse for the nail colors. Now i’m imagining a Rottweiler wearing fuchsia pink nail polishes. Very macho eh? Robbers beware. *Pink?!! Help!!! I’ve got to get out!!! For all the pet’s mud shampoo and conditioner, and all the aromatic pet spa, i think i would love to be reborn as a pedigree on my next life. Throw in a life time contract of pet pedicures, i’ll be dog gone content. Bow wow!
I’ve been to Ikano Pet Lover Centre countless of time in these 2 months. Last week i was there again this time looking for a lint roller and maybe some other pups necessities… uhm… and also to look at the pups on sale and to sneak a look at the pets being groomed and trained *wakaka! I must say the center is doing quite well compared to other pet shops.
