… with all the unnecessary buzz of the upcoming Malaysia’s General Election. Faster come, faster go and leave me alone. Everywhere i go, there were people discussing who’s running for what and who would win which seat. On TV, on radio and newspaper. Enough already lar! *very sien already lar!
First it was the white or bald headed old men in the news every single day. Then there were banters and accusations followed by silly advertisements or SPR themed songs on TV. Now it’s the eye-sore-to-see flags everywhere.
BN had gone all the way this year. Notice the numerous BN commercials aired on TV this time around? All the commercials by MCA on TV and newspapers. Using TARC and UNITAR for propaganda. My god, i can’t believe they came up with the one with the single mother who had gotten aid from MCA. I practically rolled on the floor laughing my arse off watching that!
Have you noticed the SPR song aired on TV every once in a while? When the lyrics mentions about anything negative like “jangan dengar hasutan” the DAP flag is aired and when the lyrics goes something like voting for the best party (in BM but i forgot what was it), Pak Lah‘s photos are aired. How biased could they be?
I must admit that yesterday’s headline caught my attention though. BN had roped in artiste to send their message across to ignorant public like us -_-”. Bravo! I give them props for effort and creativity. *wakaka!
Come on lar. Do they really think we are that easily sold… by manipulating the media? I think the more hype all these people create just reflects how desperate they are… and this year’s election is way overblown. This is my first time voting and no commercial or propaganda is gonna change my mind. I’m sticking to m y decision on who i’m voting for (i’m not telling who but i guess you would have known by now :P).
