I mean yes i love to write. I am jotting/writing my life journal in my blog and hopefully maybe some of my boring entries will miraculously interest the public but this is not a must. I write whatever comes into mind. Sometimes i blab about idiotic things. Sometimes my post is just one sentence. I am trying to make blogging my habit. *i’m afraid that once i have stopped i can’t start again :S. So, i’m pretty sure that i blog not for the sole sake of making money. My main intention is the first not the later.
However, i do not entirely see anything wrong with blogging for some money. I do not agree that people who blog for money had so called sold their soul for money coz i think those who don’t want extra cash in their pocket are either kidding themselves or are already filthy rich themselves. I for one love money coz i can travel with it. If you agree with me good for you, if you do not agree with me then… good for you too. It’s a matter of choices.
In fact, i’ve met some pretty good personalities online. Bloggers that blog for the sake of blogging but also making some extra bucks. Personalities like BBCommunity, StevenGoh, Merdurian, BlurryHunniee and Abner. All of them are doing pretty fine, traffic wise and money wise *solely my perception lar… donno true or not muahahahaha!
I do admire bloggers who can make fat income from it because i know blogging for money is darn difficult. It’s not easy grabbing opportunities for reviews, writing so many reviews per-day and still maintaining their own personal post each day. If you think it’s easy, try and do it yourself. *you think anyone can write so many interesting post everyday ar? i cannot ler! Just look at BBCommunity, 7 posts in a day! My gosh… i think i’ll already be celebrating if i could do at least 3 or 4 per day.
For now, i am still trying to maintain a 3:1 ratio of personal post vs sponsored post (the requirement is 2:1 i know) but somehow i am failing miserably. I am trying i am trying. Sigh… when can become like 5xmom… * ei cannot dream is it???!!!
i used to maintain my ratio as well.. but maybe i write too much, hahaha.. my PR3 become PR0 edy.. haih..

so going by this thought, more or less you don’t earn much from blogging also la haha

it’s just for fun when you have something nice to talk about and people look up to that..

erm.. if you want to maintain your PR, try to remove all the paid post widget on your right side bar, see it help or not for the next update

same here. I am a newbie blogger and just found out that it it possible. some blogging for money sites decline me for low traffic.. geez! Since I am fond of blogging mind as well earn from it for some extra cash for the internet bills. LOL! ANd you are very right its really hard work. Its not easy to sell your entries. It will took you some time for research and what to write about them! goodluck to us!
