It’s been ages since i’ve heard from him. The conversation wasn’t anything deep and profound. In fact, it was just a “hey-long-time-no-see” and “how-are-you” type of conversation. However, it did pull a string or two and almost made me cry. I’m glad…
What defines friendship?
For me, friends will be
* People who could hear you out in times of despair.
* People who understands when you need some time out *uhm… for me it’ll be a hell lot of time…
* People who you are not ashamed of sharing your thoughts and emotions with.
* People who don’t scream at you for being late because you have to attend to some other urgent stuff first.
* People who knows what you would want for your birthday or knows what you would hate
* People who would not blame you for your thoughts and actions.
* People who believe you.
* People who know you like Heineken not Carlsberg.
* People that you will drunk-dial to when you’re wasted alone at home.
* People that understands that you need time to open up.
But ironically, those are the main reasons why i have so few close friends… well next to zero that is.
Am i expecting too much?I’ve always thought that friendship means understanding. I get the idea that somehow it is a give take partnership much like a love relationship between a boy and a girl. Being friends means finding out what their taste is, their thinking and emotions… and in return they find out about yours. From there the bond grows stronger. Not everything must be spoken in words. But i find myself constantly repeating myself sometimes… hmm… maybe too much.

you’re not asking too much. friends are supposed to be that way. somehow they just understand and know what we like and dislike. they know when to come and go. they know what we think about certain issues. people come and go. in the end. only close friends will always be there for us when we need them. no matter how far apart we are.
Friendship??? Anyone wan can do also! So long as they don’t poke my backside! He! He! Actually there are many type of ‘friend’! They type which u can really depend on & trust are very rare!
