Christmas in KL

I guess i do not need to repeat myself that i love Christmas again coz i’ve been annoying everyone with my excitement including commenting on every blog post i come across that has anything to do with xmas *wakaka… but what the heck! I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!! *muahahahahahaha

Anyways, it occurred to me that today is Friday so it’s a happy happy day for everyone out there.Tomorrow is weekend so it’s time to chill and shop, especially for xmas pressies. As for those with a family of your own, it’s time to bring your kids out for a visit to the malls coz xmas deco is up and it’ll keep the kids occupied and content for once :P.

I have been to most of the malls in KL hunting to snap a photo of the nicest Christmas trees. Here’s a few with my personal ratings *hey i have extremely good taste… cough… cough…

The Curve, Mutiara Damansara
Rating: 9/10
Why: The Curve has my vote coz of the warm, colorful and romantic environment. Especially on the Street where you could listen to the hired band playing some charming jazzy oldies.

1 Utama, Bandar Utama Damansara
Rating: 8/10
Why: The Curve got my vote because of the ‘feel’ where else 1U has my vote for innovation and beautiful deco. This has got to be the most fun set up ever. Kids will love this.

Pavilion, KL – Bukit Bintang
Rating: 7/10
Why: This is not as fun but i can tell you it’s way grand. What else could you expect from this exclusive mall? As you walk towards the staircase you’ll be hit by the while dazzling xmas theme. But it’s not the feel i’m looking for *wakaka… the xmas tree is actually a platform. If you look at it properly from the second floor, you’ll see there’s a staircase.

Look at the so call xmas tree, you can climb up.

The Gardens, Midvalley City
Rating: 6/10
Why: There isn’t much of a xmas-sie feel at the Gardens. However, i do like the simple and pretty xmas trees. It’s really pretty because there’s ribbons and butterflies. Plus some trees are decorated using fruits. I think it’s real citruses coz i could see that some of it were spoiled! If anyone happens to go there, please check and tell me!!!!

Are those fruits for real??

Berjaya Times Square – Bukit Bintang
Rating: 5/10
Why: Nothing much except for a huge Christmas tree with red deco smacked in the middle of the concourse area. However, it’s nice to sit at the outdoor Starbucks listening to their xmas songs as you watch the traffic and people pass by *damn ‘feel’ i tell you

Reg giant tree

Midvalley, Midvalley City
Rating: 4/10
Why: I have nothing to say except that it’s hideous and the orange thingy looks like it’s those alien hatching pods. But i give them 4 for effort *hahaha since when did i become an expert

KLCC
Rating: 3/10
Why: I didn’t take photo of the huge tree at the concourse area coz when i was there, it was only half done. But for your info it’s the same old tree with the huge purple crystal ball deco that they use every year. Nothing new.
