At least most men. You might beg to differ but i don’t really care. *wakaka I mean what’s there to deny? It’s proven. Hell yeah it’s proven. Just yesterday, i had one of the many many frustrating conversations with EatAllYouCanShung where i was like usual only searching for a simple point blanc answer. It went something like this.
Me: What’s NATO?
EatAllYouCanShung: No Action Talk Only muahahahaha
Me: -_-”… I mean really. What do they do?
EatAllYouCanShung: It’s an organization. Something like that.
Me: I know! So what to they do??
EatAllYouCanShung: It’s like ASEAN but for western countries.
Me: It’s a peace keeper like UN?
EatAllYouCanShung: No. It’s just like ASEAN lor.
Me: Err… just answer me straight can ar? I don’t know what ASEAN does also. What does NATO do? *gritting my teeth… grrr
EatAllYouCanShung: O.o. You donno what ASEAN does ar… er… they gather and consult about the economy, social development, security and all those things between members lor.
Me: Ok. Thank you but you should have just given me that last answer when i ask you initially… -_-”
Count it. 5 drilling questions from me when i wanted only a one sentence and simply reply. *WTF?!! It kinda reminded me of our past conversation when i wanted to know what was the difference between the normal TV and a HDTV. I will spare all of you from the pain of reading the conversation here. It’s sufficient to say that it was an excruciating long and boring one where he launched into the aspect of technicality i.e. wire, light, tube, electric and god knows what coz i wasn’t listening for the sake of my sanity.

Are you laughing at him now? Well don’t. You know why? Coz i think most men functions this way coz many of my guy friends likes to do a toffee twist before getting straight to the answer. Maybe they are unable to analyze our questions logically. Maybe their brain are bit jumbled due to sleepless nights of DOTA.
… or maybe (highest probability) they really think we are that smart to understand all the crap they are churning out. While we girls are really flattered by that notion and thought, coz we are, after all mostly intelligent creatures pretending to be big-eyed-dollies in order to feed men’s ego… and our own ego, there are things we do not understand or chose not to understand.

What is the point of knowing the electric wirings of a TV when there is a repairman on hire? Just tell me that the pixel and dots of a HDTV are better than normal TV will do.
Here’s a tip. Girls DO understand technical things. It’s just that we chose not too coz it’s way too boring… and your uninspiring explanations doesn’t help to fuel the interest. So stop trying already! When we ask you about some guy stuffs (which is of course rare), we do not want to know the bases. Just hit for home-run (no pun intended)… unless we specifically asked for the bases (again no pun intended). Most likely we just want to know the end result not the processes.
I digress.
I learned a new England word from smashpop. Apparently femes = famous. *sue me for not knowing! Woo hoo! My England is getting more and more powderful each day. Bow before me, kiss my ugly feet in exchange that i don’t bomb your homeland with this powderful England weapon of mine! muahahahahahha!!

nono from my case, there’s no point explaining the end result because they’ll just give u the ‘wtf’ look. So, explain from point 1 to point 4 lo. But that one also sometimes they don’t understand, so have to patronise them abit also so I agree with EatAllYouCanShung’s approach. Being patronising is the best approach, but that doesn’t make us the worst teachers because we already understand through common consensus that girls need a lengthy explanation or else, the ‘wtf’ look comes out.
But my way now is to give the cake first, then if they don’t understand.. this is my approach,
“You know the flour? You know the egg? You know the butter? You know the oven? Ok that’s the cake”
