CSI at Zoo Negara Episode III

Look at this fella. I’ve been trying to catch a glimpse of his face but he keep on staring at the other side of the window. He is so adorably emo.

When we saw him…. After 5 mins… still emo-ing…

After 10 mins… still emo-ing!!!! -_-”

My eyes strayed to the apes coz the fella wasn’t moving at all…

So many kutu… never i eat i eat

Back to Mr.Emo-King… Oh oh! He’s turning facing us! Come on come on….

You calling me??

-_-” No wonder he’s emo-ing… he’s Coke-drunk!

Wuwuwuwu *hic *hic

Here’s the capybara i had mentioned. It’s so friggin’ big. I think about the size of a medium size kancil and guess what? It’s from the rodent family from South America. *yeah thats right. Its an ang moh rat!

I’m a big fat rat!

I had a real scare when i saw this. A hyena! It just came out out of nowhere. The enclosure was pretty save with a water-front. But there was no cage or anything so it’s pretty scary. This is the only clear photo i managed to take coz it was pacing here and there.

Hakunamatata!

Once again the Sumatran white rhino. *don’t ask me why it’s not white ok -_-”.

Charge!

I didn’t manage to take photos of all the animals coz it’s blardy diffucult to take photo of moving animals ok. It’s not like i could ask them to pause and pose for me. *duh!

Adios flamigos!

There were all kinds of crocodiles and tortoises. Big ones. Small ones.

Crocs and tortoise comes in abundant

I forgot what were these miniature-kangaroo-look-a-like called. It’s not a wallaby but the resemblance if pretty good. The mother carries the young in her pouch just like a kangaroo.

Hop hop hop!

Here’s the tapir. I wonder how many are there still in existence. Poor things was hunted for sports and meat.

My name is tapir and i’m under extinction.

Otters!!! I absolutely adore them. Too bad i wasn’t able to catch a photo of them swimming and catching fish. Graceful swimmers they are.

Teddies!!! Who would go to the zoo without a visit to the teddy bears?!

Here’s our very own Malaysia‘s young sun bear. He’s a real talent i tell ya. Keep posing and standing on his 2 feet. Too bad my fingers wasn’t quick enough.

If you think the enclosure is bigger than this… think again. This is all there is.

Another emo sesion from the big brown bears. They look so god damn bored and sad. Put them in a bigger space for god sake… They are so big yet they’re stuck is such a small area.

I need to go to the loo

How come TM didn’t sponsor the hippos? Instead it’s TV3… Weird.

And finally, our last stop. The monkeys! This was the only area where i could really smell the stink and see fleas flying!… But still no monkey butt pus…

Monkey show

I can’t believe that there are food stalls right opposite the monkey cages…. and there are people who willingly sit and ate there. Talk about poor hygiene…*yuck!

By the way, remember the KFC in the zoo? It’s closed.
