My Final Words

 
Those who don’t like reading my rants can choose not to.

Ok. I’ve cooled down.

I’m dead tired of all this mumbo-jumbo-i-shoot-you-you-shoot-me-back stuff. This is my blog. I have the right to rant about anything i want. I’m allowed to scream my frustration here.

If this were regarding some other company being rude to me, i would do the same. If i went to a restaurant and had food poisoning, i will rant about it here. It’s the same theory. I have nothing against this particular company. In fact, such companies are good news too bloggers looking for some extra pocket money. But it all boils down to principle… manners… etiquettes.

This is my final words on this issue. After this i do not want to discuss or mentioned about this anymore. I have work to attend to and i many other things to do so i do not need another shot of migraine.

This applies to everyone in the service industry.

1) It is said that support issues have a set priority in his company. I guess mine was really really low priority. My opinion is, instead of wasting time and hopping to everyone’s blogs/sites to leave some CEO‘s comments, it’s better to go attend to the massive support issues or complaints that are piling up unanswered. It’s better to solve and response to customer first hand before the situation gets worst and customers result to rant on blogs to get your attention or worst customers (like me) who doesn’t care if it gets your attention but just wants to scream in frustration.

2) I have never been so angry and frustrated with the service of a company before this. Believe me when i say i am normally a polite and most tolerant person. Once again it’s all about work etiquettes. Always be polite to customers no matter what coz you’ll never know who is really on the wrong side. Being rude won’t get anyone anywhere especially if you’re in the service industry. If you are thinking this is because of petty money, you are so dead wrong.

3) Learn from the competitor, not publicly put them down. It only shows how un-gentleman a person is. If people say your competitor is better, there must be a reason. Say thank you for the feedback, find out why and improve. If people are complaining all sorts of things about you or your company, say thank you again, find out why and improve.

4) If a person replies my email, i assume that the reply belongs to me. So i assume that i have the right to post it up. If i am dissatisfied on anything, i can rant about it in my blog. No? I’m sorry but i really thought that’s how it works. Forgive me.

5) I did not accuse anyone of anything. I was only stating how angry i was about the rude email and that i did not in any circumstances cheat. If that’s call accusing… uhm… forgive me again or maybe re-read my post?

6) Yes, i can see that there are many clicks on the stats but i had always assumed that some readers were clicking them. If i being unaware of ‘irregular’ clicks warrant being call a fraud then so be it. I have screen shots including the impression after i removed my ads from my blog but i would like to keep it to myself… for now. And it’s really bullshit being accused first of irregular click fraud and now of automated system clicks whatever that is. Make up your mind. Check my laptop or whatever you want to check. I am pretty damn sure you’ll find nothing of that sort.

Yes, I Was Talking About Advertlets


For those who had read my previous entry, you would know what i am talking about. Those who didn’t, please CLICK HERE.

Initially i did not want to mention the company’s name but i found out that many others had the same problems with Advertlets. People had been emailing me asking me to post up the email. So here it is (i had edited it but the original content is still intact).

EMAIL NO. 1 (auto-reply from Advertlets‘ support centre)

After few days and still no reply, i had filled in the contact form on the contact page asking for assistance.

After another 1 week and still no response whatsoever.

EMAIL NO. 2 (According to Adverlets, i could contact Josh (the CEO) personally)

This msg was on my earnings page:
“Your account cash out function has been disabled! Please contact our support team for further information, thank you.”

May i know what happened? Actually i had submitted a ticket to Advertlets support page on 14th Nov and another email to your support few days ago but there’s no news at all from your side. I’m hoping you can help me out here. Thanks.

I am very frustrated with advertlets right now. I had been trying to get your advice since 2 weeks ago but to no avail. There is no feedback or response from your side AT ALL.

My cashout function had been disabled 2 weeks ago and i had submitted a ticket through your support centre for advice but after 1 week there is still no response. Then i had filled in the ‘contact us’ form but again no response. Then i had emailed to Josh Lim and again NO RESPONSE!

Frankly speaking i am quite disappointed in your customer service. In any case that you have a problem or need time to investigate my problem, you should have inform me so i wouldn’t be waiting wondering what happened….

We do not disable cash out functions for no reason. The only reason the system would have automatically disabled your account is because:- You have been clicking on your own ads more than 200 times!

You should worry less about advertising for free…than say, facing legal action. We will consider whether or not to ban your account permanently (do you have anything to say?), but either way, you will not be compensated for fraudulent
earnings. Frankly, we’re disappointed too.

After receiving that email, i my blood level went up like nobody’s business. I replied in an equally rude manner which i am not going to post here. It’s too darn long.

I do not expect everyone to drop from Advertlets after reading this coz the fact is there are lotsa people earning from the ads. However, i am quite frustrated to learn that i am not the only person that had suffered from their ridiculous customer service. What is the point of setting up a support centre and asking users to email to them when they do not answer? *i wonder do they always ignore customers’ email without telling them why?

What more is to be accused of cheating. *puh leez! I am not so free as to click on it 200 times! I am also not stupid coz if i did cheat i wouldn’t go and complaint to you. This coming from a CEO is blardy rude.

The fact that Advertlets system has bugs and the stats are not accurate is widely known. I’m pretty sure that Advertlets caters for I.E. while most of us users are using Firefox. Meaning when someone click on the Advertlets ads and then click ‘Backspace‘ it will auto go back to the ads generating 2 clicks instead of one. If some ignorant person keeps clicking the ‘Backspace‘ wondering why it’s not going back then that person is in a hell lot of trouble.

I had dropped the Advertlets ads from my blog immediately after receiving the rude email. Btw, i had just checked my Adverlets account, it’s generating impressions even though i had removed the ads. *WTF?!! and they’re accusing me of fraud?!

For those who had not cashed out yet, please take note that i only found out these problems after i submitted for cash-out. So, my advice is to test out the cash-out function right after you reach your RM100 target.

Poor Customer Service Really Pisses Me Off!!

Recently, i had the worst customer service ever. This is a long long rant.

I am the most tolerant and patient person around *no? oh shut up!. I have a track for being considerate to people in the service line coz i know how it feels. I worked in a bank before this and as a senior project executive, dealt with the most difficult customers wanting to kill me and my whole family after scratching my eyes out and boiling it in a humogous pot while chanting “kill her! kill her!” *ok i think you get what i mean.

Still don’t believe me? Well, last month, I corresponded with a bank regarding my credit card for like eternity (6 emails exchange and 3 via phone calls just to check my annual fees) and i still managed to get through it in a courteously, manners intact.

So when i do lose it and get frustrated, it only means the other person had just earned himself an award from my Most-Rude-and-Annoying-Son-Of-A-Toot chart.

What do you do when you have a problem with the site that you are subscribed to? Ask for help. What is your action when you see “…., please contact our support centre for assistance?” on the screen? Ask for help. Contact the support centre. That’s exactly what i did. I contacted the support centre and waited… and waited… and waited. No nothing. The online support is offline 24 hours a day too. *incredible -_-”

I hate calling up customer service coz i had really bad experience where i was passed from person who can’t solve your problem to another person who don’t know any better. My banking days taught me that black and white is the best solution. So i filled in the form on the ‘contact me’ page and waited.

2 weeks and no response. Frustrated but not yet till the point of strangling anyone, i emailed to the CEO asking for help. Another week passed and no response. I got angry and disappointed. *i’m human. sue me!

I wrote an email to sound my frustration on the company’s service and sent it out to everyone on the company’s contact list. I didn’t even care if they could solved my problem or not anymore. I might have sounded a lil’ harsh and rude but i just wanted them to know that they need to respond to customers even though if they need time to check. A simple “We are investigating and will get back to you ASAP” will do right?

Guess what? I received a blardy rude reply from the head of the company. Accusing me of fraud that i am not aware of and threatening legal actions. *WTF?!! Sue me lar! I have the best lawyers in town! Readers don’t be shocked. It’s not those money fraud or national security breach. Just a small matter and i wasn’t even doing it and no money involved… hence my word ‘accusing‘. So, it hit me why he did not response to my previous emails. They left me in the dark coz they suspected that i was doing something wrong.

Imagine that someone stole a candy from the candy store and dropped it into your handbag. The store owner thinks you’re an accomplice but let you go without a warning. You return another day to buy a bag of chocolate only to be prevented from going into the store. You ask for a reason but the owner doesn’t tell you and turned his back to you. You ask again but again he ignores you. So you made a scene only to be shouted rudely by the owner. That’s what this is! *blardy hell!

I wouldn’t be this mad if they had reply me on my first email and politely told me what was going on. I respect that they need to keep the interest of the company and the security intact. But to ignore me and then accuse me is another thing.

What made it worst is that the head of the company is no better than the staffs. Well technically i didn’t even get a respond from the staff… uhm… that’s even worst.

A snippet of my reply, “If i am doing fraud, would i be so ignorant as to file a complaint to you so you could shoot me back or dump me with legal actions?

I would post the stupid dang emails here but after further considerations i opt against that idea… coz if i do, maybe he’ll then accuse me of generating traffic to my blog and tarnishing his reputation and slapping me with a law suit *hahaha so funny!… hmm… maybe… nah, i’m not so free do all these nonsense.

Christmas begins at Ikea


Recently, i have no mood at all to write anything long. Here a few pics to light up the Xmas spirit in you.

Ikea is the best coz they brought in real live Christmas trees all the way to Malaysia. These fir trees (its fir right?) are for sale! Price ranges from RM99.00-RM139.00 if i’m not mistaken. *affordable right?! cool!

I’m not supposed to take photos in Ikea but i couldn’t resist. I love Christmas!… Hey, the trees smell so fresh and nice.

They have table size Christmas trees for sale too. It’s fake ones but for those who doesn’t have the room for a big tree, why not get these? I bought one :)

CSI at Zoo Negara Finale

Alas, we had come to an end to CSI at Zoo Negara episodes *wakaka so lame.


I was at the zoo looking for evidence of monkey’s cancer infected butt but found nothing of that kind. *thank god!


I thought the zoo had gone from bad to worst and that i would only find maybe 2 chickens and a cow there. My 3 hours exploration in the zoo had proven myself wrong.

There were more interesting animals around. Those i could capture with my camera, i did but there were lots more i didn’t manage to. Those i missed out were the raccoons, wild cats, black panthers, wild hogs, other nocturnal animals and lots more that i can’t really remember now. Besides those that i had taken photographs of, there were other types of bears, monkeys, crocs and tortoises. However, the reptile farm and aquarium was a disappointment. It was really dark and nothing out of the ordinary. The fishes look really bored and the water was really murky.


I did not go into the bird park coz obviously i was afraid of bird shitting on my head. The penguin centre was closed for maintenance too -_-”.


The condition had improved alot since my last visit. Surprisingly it was not really that stinky (except for the monkey’s area *yuck!!). I admit there is room (very very big room) for improvement. Some aquarium-like-enclosure like those for the otters and cabybaras were really filthy.


I appreciate that they made the zoo surrounding to resemble the jungle, with trees and bushes and all *really creepy but some of the animals were missing from the enclosures. I’m sure those animals didn’t escape or anything. Maybe they were feeding it or they were hiding. But there were no zoo attendant to be seen the whole time i was there so it was pretty scary. *i was clinging to EatAllYouCanShung while imagining a wild hog charging at me from behind!


I’m glad that they closed down KFC coz i wouldn’t eat in the zoo even if you pay me a gazillion bucks… uhm… on second thought… for a gazilion… maybe *wakaka. But i was disgusted that they had opened a food stall opposite the monkey cages. I could practically see fleas and other itch inducing species flying around the cages!

What did i get from visiting the zoo besides enjoying myself and buckets full of buffalo sweat? A swollen and itchy arm. Something bit me on the hand. I didn’t notice it till next morning. *size of my palm ler. My advice, bring some bug repellent….

Here’s the capybara i had mentioned. It’s so friggin’ big. I think about the size of a medium size kancil and guess what? It’s from the rodent family from South America. *yeah thats right. Its an ang moh rat!

I had a real scare when i saw this. A hyena! It just came out out of nowhere. The enclosure was pretty save with a water-front. But there was no cage or anything so it’s pretty scary. This is the only clear photo i managed to take coz it was pacing here and there.

I forgot what were these miniature-kangaroo-look-a-like called. It’s not a wallaby but the resemblance if pretty good. The mother carries the young in her pouch just like a kangaroo.

Here’s our very own Malaysia‘s young sun bear. He’s a real talent i tell ya. Keep posing and standing on his 2 feet. Too bad my fingers wasn’t quick enough.
